Lorem Ipsum

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

§32.50. Deceptive preparation and marketing of academic product

Ever thought of buying or even selling a paper to be turned in as "YOUR" paper? If so, you might want to read this...

Texas Penal Code §32.50

Fractions to Inches to Picas to Points

Today many graphic designers simply use a program to figure fractions, inches, points, and pica conversions. Some don't even use picas anymore (even though they are a commonly used measurement unit). When you have to actually type in an exact unit of measurement, where do you look for that figure? To help me with this situation, I created the following chart and attached (taped) it to the edge of my computer monitor. Click on the link below to download a pdf version that you can print out and use for yourself.

Here is a sampling of former students photography work. All images were created for my BASIC B&W photo class. In most cases, this was the first time they had taken a photo class let alone printed B&W photos. When you click on the link above, the portfolio of images will open in its own window. Simply close the window to return to this page.
